The last lecture in our FGU-CBS 2021 Seminars on Vietnamese Buddhist Studies was held online on January 6, 2022.  Nguyễn Đình Hưng, researcher at the Dept. of Hán Nôm Studies, Vietnam National University (VNU) - University of Humanities and Social Sciences, Hanoi, presented a talk in Vietnamese on "Printing and Dissemination of Buddhist Scriptures in North Vietnam from the Trần Dynasty through the Early 20th Century", which was translated into Mandarin by Dr. Nguyễn Tô Lan (Institute of Hán-Nôm Studies, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, Hanoi). Roughly 40 faculty, students and guests of the Department of Buddhist Studies of Fo Guang University attended the meeting.

Nguyễn Đình Hưng describes the origins, woodblock carvings, and dissemination of Buddhist scriptures from the 13th century to the end of the 20th century.
