Professor Jeremy Rappleye from the Faculty of Education at the University of Hong Kong and Professor Chia-Ling Wang from the Center for Teacher Education at National Taiwan Ocean University recently visited the Center for Buddhist Studies at Fo Guang University for academic exchange and institutional discussions. During the visit, the Center for Buddhist Studies introduced its recent achievements in the digitalization of Buddhist texts, the cultivation of academic talent, and the publication of international scholarly journals. The visitors also learned about the Center’s ongoing efforts in Buddhist digital humanities and international academic collaboration. The Center for Buddhist Studies stated that it will continue to serve as a bridge for international academic exchange, promoting greater diversity and internationalization in Buddhist Studies, while enabling traditional Buddhist wisdom to play an increasingly influential role in contemporary scholarship.
