▣ Event Introduction:
Making Mystical Experiences Discussable through the Psychology of Religion
Professor Tsai Yi-Jia will draw from her book, Humanistic Interpretation of Psychology of Religion, to discuss scholars and theories related to mystical and mystic experiences (including William James, Sigmund Freud, Object Relations Theory, and Carl Jung).
She will then explore the potential connections and dialogues between these theories and Buddhism. How will a healing orientation characterized by deconstruction and construction connect and unfold with the Buddhadharma?
We welcome everyone to join us for this lecture!
