Boundless Treasury: A Series of Events on Buddhist Texts, Images, and Sounds

I. Introduction

The Center for Buddhist Studies at Fo Guang University, in collaboration with the Fo Guang Shan Institute of Humanistic Buddhism and the Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum, proudly presents the "Boundless Treasury" series of events. This program includes the Exploring the Jinling Sutra Printing House special exhibition, the Boundless Treasury International Conference, and Public Lectures on the Buddhist Canon.

This series brings together rigorous academic research in Buddhist history, art, archaeology, and manuscript studies, exploring the dynamic relationship between Buddhist propagation and various media. By examining Buddhist texts, images, and sounds, the events aim to stimulate scholarly dialogue on the transmission of Buddhism across time. In an era of rapid technological advancement and multimedia evolution, this initiative offers valuable historical insights and innovative perspectives for the future of Buddhist dissemination.

The Center for Buddhist Studies at Fo Guang University will host the Boundless Treasury International Conference from August 12 to 15, 2025, at Fo Guang Shan, delving into the diverse dimensions of Buddhist media and propagation.
