📢 Healing and Liberation: Academic Symposium on the Dialogue between Buddhist Studies and Psychology 📢
The "Interdisciplinary Research Project on Buddhist Studies and Psychology" at the Center for Buddhist Studies, Fo Guang University, will host the "Healing and Liberation: Dialogues Between Psychology and Buddhist Studies" academic symposium from June 10 to 11, 2022.
In addition to in-person attendance, online participation via video conference is now open for registration from today until June 9 (or until capacity is reached)!

Through continuous academic community activities and interdisciplinary expert lectures, the project has vigorously explored the complementarity and potential correspondences between Buddhist Studies and Psychology in both theory and practice from the perspectives of various schools and thoughts. The aim is to uncover resources within Buddhist liberation thought that can serve psychological healing and to develop Buddhist methods of psychological healing.
The research findings of these ten scholars will be presented at the symposium. Distinguished scholars and experts from various fields have also been invited to serve as discussants. Furthermore, a Young Scholars' Forum has been organized to cultivate young scholars conducting research on this topic.
