As affect and cognition are important aspects within our conscious experience, Buddhism believes these two to be inseparably interwoven. While Psychology tends to distinguish between the two, the influencing of affect on cognition and vice-versa are observed. But do the two domains of Buddhism and Psychology refer to cognition and affect in the same way?  How are their scopes different?  We hope the presentations of cognition and affect from these two differing perspectives can further mutual, deeper understandings of the connection between affect and cognition.

CBS@FGU cordially invites your participation at this next colloquium event. Hope to see you there!
